Playing in a Garage Band

I’ve been playing in a garage band for the last six months and it’s been the time of my life. About a month ago my girlfriend got me a brand new set of electric guitar strings. The ones that I’d been using were rather cheap and didn’t sound as good as these ones, and I was totally grateful to her for having got me such a meaningful gift. Our group has got a couple of good songs and we’ve been working on a few more. We’ve been saving up our money so that we can go into a proper studio to lay them all down, but until then were just plugging along.

Last week I was looking around on JustStrings.com. They’ve got a lot of selection and the prices are pretty good, but I decided to hold off on purchasing anything new for a while. I wanted to see if I could pay for all of my equipment and lessons with money that we earned from our performances, which isn’t going to be that hard. We’ve got a pretty good following and they’re a bunch of girls that send us free bass guitar strings whenever we need them. Hopefully things will work out and one day we will all be famous rock stars.
